The Paper Bridge was built during the summer season near Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct site near Nimes in the south of France and UNESCO-rated. Great contrast between the materials of the two works: heavy and durable bricks of the Pont du Gard, light and ephemeral structure Ban made of recycled paper and cardboard. The Paper Bridge gets its size from those of the arches of the historic aqueduct.
