Much of the Finnish population live In houses with spacious plots, with an area of approximately 800-1500 m2, situated at the outskirts of cities. In rural areas plot sizes are larger. The development of a residential culture in the cities with a denser form of small-scale housing has long been under discussion, but the change has been slow, and good examples are needed.
The project’s aim is to offer a new way of living the urban-space where people are able to re-discover social/community dimension and a peoplefriendly space by giving the growth in plans for sustainable mobility and the promotion of a sustainable environmental.
This means to design a module space able to satisfy several urban needs. For this reason each hexagonal modules is composed by houses, private gardens, public parks, common spaces; commercial & services spaces in order to change city-users’ behaviors
