THE ILLUSION OF CHOICE

The 10 major global brands (Kraft, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Mars, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Pepsico, Coca Cola) are in control of much of world trade, it seems only to have the choice , consumers flock to shopping malls and several shelves rather live in a real monopoly controlled by a few brands.

What it means and what it means to  CHOOSE FREE ?

The first condition is to choose that there should be at least two alternatives.

The second premise is that you can not even choose, ie have the freedom not to buy it from them a hand.

Well today is choosing not to buy, as it should be in a global economy, including 100 or more different brands with their predominant features, but, as mentioned earlier between a dozen brands.

Is this the free trade that we wanted to create?
